About The Summit

The Annual ACM India Chapter Summit 2025 will be proudly hosted by SVKM’s NMIMS Indore on 19th and 20th December 2025. We look forward to welcoming ACM Chapters from across India to our campus for this flagship event.

This year’s summit will serve as a platform for the ACM community to share knowledge, exchange perspectives, and spark new collaborations in the field of computing. By bringing together Student, Professional, SIG, and ACM-W Chapters, the gathering seeks to build stronger networks, inspire innovation, and drive meaningful contributions to society.

Across the two days, participants can look forward to an engaging mix of expert talks, interactive workshops, industry panels, startup showcases, and networking opportunities, creating an environment that encourages both learning and collaboration.

With its focus on innovation, inclusivity, and impact, the ACM India Chapter Summit 2025 at NMIMS Indore will be a memorable experience for all attendees and a step forward in shaping the future of computing.

Summit Theme

This year’s theme is The Human-AI Partnership: Shaping Human Capital for an AI Era, highlighting how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping industries, education, research, and everyday life. Artificial Intelligence is no longer confined to research labs or futuristic predictions—it is all around us. From healthcare and education to business, communication, and creativity, AI is shaping the way we live, work, and think. The theme “The Human-AI Partnership: Shaping Human Capital for an AI Era” reflects the idea that intelligence is now embedded in every sphere of our daily lives, influencing decisions, driving innovation, and opening new possibilities.

This event brings together researchers, industry experts, and enthusiasts to explore the multifaceted world of AI—its applications, challenges, ethics, and future directions. Through talks, workshops, and discussions, the journey of “The Human-AI Partnership: Shaping Human Capital for an AI Era”, will be explored.

Distances from Major Transit Hubs

  • From Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport (IDR):
    • Distance: Approx. 5-6 km
    • Travel Time: 10-15 minutes by car.
  • From Indore Junction Railway Station (INDB):
    • Distance: Approx. 12 km
    • Travel Time: 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • From Sarwate Bus Stand:
    • Distance: Approx. 12-13 km
    • Travel Time: 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Recommended Modes of Transport

  1. App-Based Cabs (Highly Recommended):
    • Services: Ola and Uber are widely available and are the most convenient, direct options.
    • Destination: Simply enter “NMIMS Indore” as your drop-off location.
  2. City Bus (AICTSL):
    • Indore’s city bus service (AICTSL) runs services along the Super Corridor.
    • How to Use: Look for buses heading towards “Bada Bangarda” or “Super Corridor”. We recommend using apps like Chalo to track bus numbers and timings from your location (e.g., Railway Station or Sarwate Bus Stand).
  3. Indore Metro (Yellow Line):
    • The Indore Metro’s priority corridor is now operational.
    • Route: You can take the metro to the “Super Corridor 3” or “Super Corridor 1” stations.
    • Final Step: From the metro station, the campus is a short distance away. You can easily find an auto-rickshaw for the final 2-3 minute ride to the campus gate.
  4. Auto-Rickshaw / Taxi:
    • These are available at all transit hubs. We recommend using the app-based services (Ola/Uber) for autos as well.
    • Landmark: If the driver is unsure of the new campus, please direct them towards the “Super Corridor, near Bada Bangarda.
