About Lady Ada
Lady Ada is the flagship annual event of ACM-W India, named in honor of Ada Lovelace, the world’s first computer programmer and a pioneer in computing. Lady Ada is a national-level coding event and the flagship program of ACM-W India. It is designed to encourage and empower women in computing by providing them with opportunities to showcase their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking. The event brings together participants from across the country to compete, collaborate, and learn, while also celebrating the spirit of diversity and inclusion in technology.

About AICWiC (ACM India Celebrations of Women in Computing)
AICWiC is the annual flagship celebration of ACM-W India, dedicated to recognizing and promoting the role of women in computing. The event provides a national platform for students, researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange ideas, share experiences, and celebrate achievements in technology. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, technical sessions, and poster presentations, AICWiC fosters collaboration, mentorship, and networking while inspiring the next generation of women in computing.

Why Lady Ada
The Lady Ada Programming Contest stands as a tribute to Ada Lovelace, the world’s first computer programmer, whose vision and intellect continue to inspire generations. In the spirit of her legacy, the contest seeks to nurture women leaders in technology, creating an environment where innovation meets inclusivity. Through this initiative, participants gain exposure to diverse perspectives, develop resilience in problem solving, and experience the power of community. About UPES ACM-W & ACM Student Chapter
The UPES ACM -W and ACM Student Chapters are among the most dynamic technical communities on campus. Both chapters work actively to foster knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and inclusivity in technology. Over the years, the chapters have organized workshops, hackathons, speaker sessions, and national-level events that provide students opportunities to refine their technical expertise, enhance leadership qualities, and engage with industry mentors. With a focus on empowering women in technology, the ACM-W Student Chapter at UPES has consistently promoted diversity and collaboration in computing.
We are honored to host Lady Ada 2025, the flagship national-level programming contest of ACM-W India. This event is designed to celebrate and empower undergraduate and postgraduate women in computing across India, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical excellence.
