Gargi B. Dasgupta is the Director for IBM Research in India and the CTO for IBM India/South Asia. In her role as Director, Gargi is responsible for establishing and executing the technical agenda of IBM’s India Research Lab in collaboration with IBM’s worldwide research labs and business units. In her role as CTO, Gargi is responsible for representing and communicating IBM’s overall technical vision & strategy. Gargi is a champion of women in STEM and has received several recognitions from Fortune India, Business Today, IndiaAI for her unique role at the intersection of Technology and Business. In 2022, she has been recognized with the ACM India OCCW award. She is an alumni of Jadavpur University and University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Shai Venkatraman is currently Director, Strategic Communications at Footprint Global Communications. A former NDTV bureau chief, she has over 25 years of experience in print, television, and the web. She was also the former editor of Gateway House, a prestigious foreign policy think tank, and NewzHook, an accessible website for people with disabilities in India. She is a recipient of Women's Edition, a fellowship from USAID's Population Reference Bureau, and was awarded the UNFPA-LAADLI award for the best documentary in 2012. In addition to anchoring on NDTV, she has hosted interview sessions at the Tata Lit Live festival.
Meena Mahajan is a Professor in the Theoretical Computer Science group at The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, HBNI, Chennai, India, which she joined in 1994. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay in 1986 and 1988, and her PhD degree from IIT Madras in 1993. Her research interests encompass many aspects of computational complexity theory, including Boolean function complexity, algebraic circuit complexity, proof complexity, and space-bounded computation.
Neelima Vobugari is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive IT experience of over 20 years. She is a certified Data Scientist with a degree in data science from Johns Hopkins University, Maryland, USA. She has an MBA from Symbiosis and a B Tech from JNTU. Her entrepreneurial stint is focused on consulting and training in the area of data science and Artificial Intelligence and related technologies. She is currently CEO of Tarah Technologies, a marquee AI and Machine Learning competency and consulting firm. Her IT experience spans giant IT companies including IBM. She is now embarking on an innovative product in AI space via testAIng.com
She has recently been conferred the prestigious "Women in AI" award given to select women leaders in data science and AI.
She is a strong innovator, has filed three patents in the area of AI, and provided innovative solutions to over 20 AI consulting projects at marquee clients. She has the distinction of having trained over 2000 students and professionals via various enterprise and B2C trainings in various areas of data science, AI and machine learning. Her trainings have been well received by students as well as corporate employees.
She is an invited speaker at marquee conferences like GHCI, Data Science Congress , International Women Entrepreneur conference etc. She was invited by the Chief Minister of Karnataka for the pre-budget session of Karnataka as an expert representing women entrepreneurs of Karnataka.
Cigdem has more than ten years of experience in research and development in mobile and wireless networks in both academia and industry. She has been working on standards for building privacy and trust in the Internet of Things during her time at Nominet as a Senior Researcher (2015-2019). Between 2012-2015, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, where she lectured and conducted research on wireless and mobile networks, with a particular focus on energy and interference efficiency, and Internet of Robotic Things. From 2008-2012, she was with Telekom Innovation Labs (the main research unit of Deutsche Telekom) as a Senior Research Scientist leading projects on Wireless Mesh Networks. Her work has been published in more than 50 journal and conference publications. She is a Fulbright, Department of Computer Science, UIUC and Vodafone fellow.
Cigdem is a passionate advocate of increasing diversity awareness in computing. She is the Communication and Outreach Chair of ACM Women-Europe. She collaborates with the Micro:bit Educational Foundation to support their mission of teaching coding to school children. She is the co-author of the Networking with the Micro:bit book.
Bhavani is the CEO of Footprint Global. She is a senior communications professional with experience spanning over 17 years in public relations and strategic media relations, having extensive work experience with leading multinationals and some of the world’s largest communications agencies in senior leadership roles. She has held senior leadership roles with organizations such as GE, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, IPAN Hill & Knowlton prior to establishing Footprint Global Communications.

She is one of the few Indians to hold both a Chevening (CRISP 2014 scholar, Said Business School, University of Oxford) and a Fulbright Scholarship ( Rutgers University, Newark, USA for 2009-10). She was selected as one of the semi- finalists in the GDN Japanese Award for Outstanding Research in Development Work in 2011. She was the Programme Director from BIMTECH for the states of UP and Orissa for the Goldman Sachs ISB BIMTECH 10000 Women global project. She has published and presented papers in various domestic and international forums.
