The Meghe Group of Schools (MGS) successfully hosted the 4th Regional Conference on Computational Thinking in Schools (CTiS) at School of Scholars, Atrey Layout on the 28th of June, in collaboration with ACM India, ACM Nagpur Professional Chapter, and CSpathshala. MGS has been a pioneer in implementing CSpathshala’s CT curriculum across its schools, promoting future-ready education. The conference received over 100 abstract submissions, with 36 selected papers presented by teachers from School of Scholars and Bhavans Trimurti Nagar, showcasing innovative integration of CT across subjects.

A panel discussion on “Reimagining Classrooms: Opportunities and Challenges in Integrating AI, CT, and STEM”, chaired by Mr. Ajinkya Amberkhane (MGS), featured leading experts including Dr. Mukta Paliwal, Dr. Umesh Deshpande, Mr. R. Venkatesh, and Dr. Chitra Babu.

Prof. R. Ramanujam from Azim Premji University delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of mathematical thinking in understanding AI and coding.

The event reflected MGS’s strong commitment to educational innovation, with support from Mrs. Devika Meghe and Mrs. Abha Meghe, reinforcing the transformative role of Computational Thinking in school education.
